Rebel Galaxy Outlaw teases new combat in latest trailer
Double Damage Games announced their latest game, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, yesterday. And now we’ve got a new trailer for the upcoming space pirate romp.
Rebel Galaxy Outlaw is a prequel to the original Rebel Galaxy, placing players in the shoes of one Juno from the original game. And the biggest change we’ve seen so far is that this new game is getting a much better combat engine compared to the first game. Whereas the first game had much more ship-esque combat focused around broadsides, this new game has combat with a fast-paced arcadey feel.
But new combat mechanics aren’t the only thing we can glean from this trailer. Rebel Galaxy Outlaw has much more improved graphics and a whole slew of mini-games focused around gambling and other activities. So it seems like the taverns will be much more lively this time around at least.
